HighFinesse R&D: Wavelength & Frequency Noise of narrow linewidth lasers

Description: Internship in the R&D department of HighFinesse with insights into the development of optical measurement instruments for wavelength or frequency noise determination of ultranarrow lasers. Tasks may include optical setups with low-noise lasers, atomic or molecular spectroscopy, measurement data analysis, electronics or small software projects.

Prerequisite knowledge: Experience with working in optical laboratories with lasers.
Internship period and planned duration: Minimum 3 months (starting from April 2022)
