Description: Entanglement is a key feature of quantum systems and underlies many collective quantum phenomena. Thus, detecting and quantifying entanglement based on experimental data from quantum simulations is crucial. The goal of this project is to develop means to efficiently detect entanglement in experiments with continuous variable systems such as Bose-Einstein condensates.

Prerequisite knowledge: Solid knowledge of quantum mechanics, Advantageous: Basic knowledge of quantum information theory and ultracold quantum gases
Internship period and planned duration: 3 months between February and October 2022
