The Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) focuses on teacher training and educational research. Within the project HSE Go Digital Now, we offer workshops for educational practitioners at the university on different digital tools and concepts and how to implement these for a successful online teaching. We have also created digital materials to explain the key experiments on quantum physics which are taught at high school, in an untraditional form which reflects more a typical research process in science. These materials are used for teacher training and also as a learning material resource for schools. Additionally, we have developed an evaluation to verify the effectiveness of these materials and possible opportunities for improvement.
