Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is positioned as the Research University in the Helmholtz Association. Combining experiment and theory, the researchers at the Institute for Quantum Materials and Technologies (IQMT) at KIT seek to understand quantum phenomena in condensed matter and molecular systems, and to develop novel devices based on these effects that will serve as building blocks for future quantum technologies.
