Quantum sciences are an integral part of the University of Strasbourg’s vision for the Initiative for Excellence – a multidisciplinary strategy for research, education, technology transfer and international attractiveness. This is embodied through the Interdisciplinary Thematic Institute and International graduate school QMat – Quantum Science and Nanomaterials which focuses on the transition from fundamental quantum sciences to innovation with research-oriented training. QMat combines masters and doctoral courses with enhanced networking opportunities, travel support, fellowships and paid internships at the Master level, followed by PhD contracts.
